It's Award Season... Continued.

2 November 2021

November starts with some really good news… What a festival season 2021 has been so far. We have six wonderful awards to announce from October's festivals and could not be more excited.

As an all-female team we're especially happy for WILD HEART OF EUROPE (52' or 90' UHD) by Lisa Eder-Held which won the WILD WOMAN AWARD at the Innsbruck Nature FILM Festival (INFF).

WFFR - Wildlife Film Festival Rotterdam brought three awards to films from our catalogue:

Hilco Jansma picked up the NEWCOMER AWARD 2021 for his film THE OTTER - A LEGEND RETURNS (52' UHD). This is a great recognition and we're also happy to see the film travel internationally.

Zoltan Török by now needs another shelf in his office for all the awards for WILD HORSES - A TALE FROM THE PUSZTA (52' or 88' UHD). In Rotterdam it picked up the ANIMAL BEHAVIOUR AWARD 2021.

GLORIOUS BUSTARDS (52' UHD) by Altayfilm won the VAN LAWICK CONSERVATION AWARD 2021. It may not be the most obvious bird to make a film about, but the combination of top-notch wildlife camera work and a group of wonderful scientists continues to convince buyers and festivals worldwide.

After winning the festival's main prize last year with ON THIN ICE (52' UHD), the team of Altayfilm scored again by winning the 2021 prize in the category "Humans and Nature" for GLORIOUS BUSTARDS.

And last but not least Marco Polo Film AG's series JEWELS OF THE ALPS (5 x 52' UHD), a wonderful program about Italy's lakes won the 1ST PRIZE FOR ECOLOGICAL DOCUMENTARIES at the ART&TUR International Tourism Film Festival in Portugal last week.

Congratulations to all the winners!
