The Truth about Invaders

Nature & Wildlife 52' 2024 4K

This film challenges our preconceived ideas about exotic species. Striking footage of the intimacy of these ‘aliens’ reveals their impact on local species and our environment. But once integrated, aren't these species an opportunity for evolution and biodiversity?

Much more discreetly, we are discovering that a multitude of exotic species surround us without provoking our excitement. Whether plant or animal, they have established themselves everywhere in complete anonymity. Sometimes voracious predators, they are also very useful prey for local species.

Other species have been present on our territory for a long time, but we have forgotten their exotic origins. Models of integration, these former ‘invaders’ have enriched nature.
