Flow of Life - The Story of a River

Nature & Wildlife 43' 2024 4K

Rivers can become a danger, as recent flood disasters have shown. Often, this is because they are endangered in their natural course—straightened, piped, or dammed. This film tells the story of the amazing connections in a river that is still allowed to be a river of life, flowing freely and shaping its own path. Here, otters, dragonflies, little ringed plovers, and catfish are part of a chain of life and death. In the river, there are no "catastrophes" – as long as nothing flows into it that doesn't belong and disrupts the natural balance.
