‘Between Fire and Ice’ is devoted to extremes. In Switzerland, heat and cold, fire and ice collide. Glaciers meet hot springs; icy deserts meet rocky steppes. Its inhabitants are as diverse as its landscapes: glacier fleas and scorpions, ibex and bee-eaters.

Breathtaking aerial shots – filmed at great expense using drones and helicopters – reveal the scenic beauty of the country.
