The beloved Matsalu Nature Film Festival is still ongoing until October 1st. At the awards ceremony last weekend Cactus Hotel and Wolf - Wanderer without Borders turned out to be this year's festival favorite with Cactus Hotel taking home two, and Wolf three awards. 

Cactus Hotel was awarded the prize for Best Directing and the Special Prize in the Nature category. The jury lauded the directors innovative and humorous approach to the subject. The jury was also impressed by the bold and original storytelling.

Wolf - Wanderer Without Borders took home the awards for Best Cinematography and Best Editing as well as the Special Prize. 

Congratulations to both teams. We are eagerly waiting for the reveal of this year's audience awards of the festival.
